What a structural package is
A structural package is a single subcontract covering every trade that builds the concrete frame of a building: formwork to form the elements, steel fixing to reinforce them, concrete placement to pour and finish them, and scaffolding for access and edge protection as the structure rises. MK Management Group self-performs all four with its own crews, so the head contractor lets one contract for the structure instead of three or four, runs one program line, calls one inspection per element and receives one payment claim a month with the subcontractor's statement and certificates attached.
Each trade is still measured and priced on its own basis, formwork per square metre by element, reinforcement per tonne, concrete per square metre or per pour, scaffold as a lump sum plus hire, so the quotation stays itemised and any trade can be awarded alone. The package is priced from the for-construction set within five working days.
The handover is the product
A structure split across three or four subcontractors loses days at every handover: the formworker waits on the steel fixer, the steel fixer waits on the engineer, the concreter waits on both. When the trades are one company the sequence is ours to run.

Questions builders ask about the package
Do we have to take all four trades?
No. Each trade is quoted as its own package and can be awarded alone. The handover advantage only exists when at least the formwork, steel and concrete are ours, so that is the combination we price most often.
How is a package quoted?
Itemised per element, with the pricing basis shown against each line. Measured quantities from the for-construction set, inclusions and exclusions written down, and rates held for thirty days.
What is excluded?
Concrete supply and pump, crane time, council permits and survey are normally on the builder's account, and they are listed as exclusions on the quotation so there are no surprises in the claim.
Who runs the package?
Michael, the company's director. He prices the package, runs it on site and issues the monthly claim with the subcontractor's statement and certificates attached, so commercial and site questions have one answer.
