Formwork, steel fixing, concreting and scaffolding, self-performed across Sydney

MK Management Group delivers complete structural packages to head contractors and developers on multi-residential and commercial builds across Greater Sydney. One contract for the structure, one program line, one claim a month.

4structural trades, self-performed
1contract for the structure, footings to topping out

Four trades, and the handover between them is ours.

When the formwork, the reinforcement and the pour are self-performed, no trade waits on another. Decks strip, cages tie and trucks book against one program, and the structure rises on the head contractor's dates.

Formwork

The deck sets the cycle. Set out against the survey, propped to the design, certified before every pour, stripped on cylinder results.

  • Propping certified before every pour
  • Formed surfaces to the AS 3610 finish class on the drawings, ready for the following trades
  • Safe strip on strength, never on the calendar

Steel fixing

Tied on the deck we propped, cover and laps checked before the engineer is called, so the inspection passes first time.

  • Steel tied and inspection-ready before every pour
  • Cover and laps to the detail before the engineer arrives
  • PT support coordinated with the stressing contractor

Concreting

The truck is booked against the inspection, not after it. Placed, compacted, finished to the class and cured as specified.

  • Pour sequences planned with the formwork and steel crews, who are also us
  • Finishes to the specified class, checked as we go
  • Curing compound or wet curing as specified, and the slab protected while it gains strength

Scaffolding

Lifted as each deck strips, re-certified after every alteration, hop-ups moved around the trades rather than in front of them.

  • Handover certificates at erection and every alteration
  • Inspections at the intervals the WHS Regulation requires
  • Hop-ups and tie-ins moved around the trades, not in front of them

How pricing works

01

Send the drawings

Issue the for-construction set for the packages you want priced. Architectural and structural, plus the propping design if you have it.

02

Itemised quotation in five working days

Measured quantities, clear rates per tonne, per square metre or lump sum, and the inclusions and exclusions written down. Every line is per element, so if a rate looks wrong you can see exactly which one.

03

Rates held for thirty days

The rate is held for the awarded scope. We crew up to your program from the day of award and price variations in writing before the work starts.

Director-led delivery: the person who priced the package runs it on site, so rate, program and variations are one conversation. How the rates are built
