What a package looks like on site
Footings and pads are set out, formed, steel-fixed and poured by the same crews, so the inspection is called once and there is nothing to come back for. Basement slabs go down as large-area pours with joints and falls set out in advance.
As the structure rises, suspended slabs are decked on aluminium bearers and joists, propped to the design, reinforced for conventional or post-tensioned detail, and poured to the head contractor's program. Back-propping carries through on the engineer's sequence.
Lift shafts and stair cores are formed with gang forms and boxed in lifts the form can take. Scaffold is lifted and re-certified as each level is reached.
